On the first episode of JTBC’s “Body Cam”, the show revisited intense incidents captured on body camera footage. After watching one of the clips, host Bae Sung-jae asked, “Has anyone here ever been to a police station or precinct? Raise your hand if you have.”
Cautiously, Song Ji-hyo raised her hand and shared her experience. Then, Song Ji-hyo recounted an incident where she had to stop at a police station for help after a large bug fell into her car, leaving her too scared to handle the situation.

“I was driving when I opened the sunroof and something fell out. I looked and saw a big bug. I was so surprised that I couldn’t look. I just drove straight, and there was a police station 50 meters ahead”, the actress recalled, adding that she asked for help from a police officer.
“The police officer must have been scared too. He brought a pair of tongs this big from the bathroom, grabbed them, and threw them far away”, Song Ji-hyo also said, adding, “It was a request for rescue. I was practically asking him to please save me.”
Previously, on Ji Suk-jin’s YouTube channel, Song Ji-hyo revealed that her fear of insects stems from childhood trauma. While at her grandfather’s traditional medicine shop, she once found herself unable to escape as two large bugs crawled toward her. This experience left a lasting impact, causing her to feel extreme fear and anxiety around insects to this day.
